I live with my husband Jeff on 33 beautiful acres, tucked in the hills outside of Candor. We like to think of ourselves as small scale homesteaders, growing and storing our own vegetables and fruits, heating only with wood we sustainably harvest in our forest, and using herbal medicines we wildcraft, grow and make. Out of our love for this lifestyle, I started Wildmoon Homesteading LLC in 2018 to offer classes in these skills to women. You can learn more about this program at www.wildmoonhomesteading.com.
Jeff is a carpenter of 43 years, a furniture maker and master forester, as well as a member of the New York Forest Owners Association, where he is editor of the local chapter magazine. You can learn more about his work at www.jeffjosephwoodworker.com.
