Candor Pavilion Park

When Jim Douglas was Code Inspector for the Town of Candor, he worked with Cornell University's Design Connect Program to design and build the Candor Community Pavilion. A year,  later, Jim was chosen again to have a park designed to utilize the wasted space behind the parking lot, and to tie in the new pavilion. The team had several meetings with the community and plans  for a simple park  were produced. The plan includes a beautiful walking track, Barbecue grills near the pavilion and an earth beamed amphitheater in the center V of the pavilion. It's a great design and we thank Jim Douglas for his dedication, vision and continued effort. Candor Forward has adopted these projects.
